Made from the highest-quality 100% silk in an indulgent 22 momme weight, this kimono-style luxury robe is a dream. Unlike satin robes (usually made from synthetic materials such as polyester) silk robes are made from a natural protein-rich fiber that is breathable, gentle on the skin, and helps with issues like dryness and sensitivity. Our robe features convenient hanging loops, interior ties for secure closure, and an external belt for a perfect fit. Our special feature, a sewn-in tab with a button closure to keep each sleeve up when needed, makes this one of the best silk robes on the market.

When developing our silk robes, we spent nearly a year perfecting every detail to ensure they met our highest standards. We wanted robes that we ourselves would be excited to wear every day. Inspired by our favorite adaptable blouses, we designed the sleeves to be adjustable with a rolled-tab option. This allows the sleeves to be worn long or rolled/scrunched and secured in place with a fabric tab and a small clear button.
The Kimono style allows for dropped shoulder seams and wide sleeves for a relaxed fit and extra comfort.
Made from the pristine, protective cocoon of the bombyx mori silkworm, mulberry silk is hydrating and gentle to your skin. It is naturally hypoallergenic and
non-irritating, even to those with sensitive skin or conditions like acne or eczema. Our silk robe helps lock in the natural moisture your skin craves. Our silk robe is also hypoallergenic, and resistant to mold, dust mites, and other irritants. It’s the sensuous, soothing garment your skin deserves. We’ve also taken an extra step for safety; our silk robe—and all our silk products—are independently certified OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 to be free of harmful chemicals during production.

While cotton absorbs skin's moisture, a silk robe is a protein-based fabric, helping skin retain it's natural moisture. Our smooth charmeuse weave is shiny on the outside with a soft, matte reverse on the inside against the skin. Silk glides over the skin, never tugging or pulling like cotton or polyester.
Unlike a polyester satin robe, a real mulberry silk robe provides benefits for skin and hair (e.g., helps with dry skin, prevents hair damage, combats sleep creases, fine lines and wrinkles, and much more).
While satin is a man-made, often petroleum-based fabric that retains heat and can harbor bacteria. Silk is natural, breathable, resistant to bacteria and dust mites, and helps to regulate body temperature (especially beneficial for women experiencing hot flashes).
When caring for your silk robe, you can choose to hand-wash (preferred) or machine wash with a few standard care tips.
Always wash silk with a detergent that it made specifically for natural, protein-based fabrics. We recommend Heritage Park Silk & Wool Detergent. Make sure the detergent you choose is pH neutral, enzyme-free, and free of harsh chemicals. Use cold/cool water and lay flat or hang to dry out of direct sunlight.
If machine-washing, make sure to put your silk robe in a fine mesh laundry bag to protect it from snags.

I got this as a treat for myself after I'd had my silk sheet set for a few months because the silk just feels so much better on my skin. I am a pretty thick, curvy girl so it didn't fit at first. I am on a weight loss journey though and I was able to fit into it about a month and a half after it arrived. For reference I am 5'8", 235 lb, 38DDD (44" bust, 36" waist, and 46" hip). It is a bit on the short side, but as I'm losing it is laying closer to the body and that adds a bit of length.
