How to Care for Your Silk

Silk is much easier to care for than you might think. Don't be swayed by the misconception that silk is extremely delicate. Your mulberry silk bedding just needs a touch more attention. Your silk sheet set, accessories, robe and pillowcase can be laundered in a machine or by hand. If you opt for machine washing, be sure to follow the guidelines below to ensure your silk remains gorgeous for the long haul.

Silk Facts
- Our mulberry silk products are made from 100 percent silk for a true night of beauty sleep.
- Silk fiber is a protein-based natural fiber produced by silk worms.
- Each mulberry silk filament is 600 - 900 meters (1,970 - 2,950 feet) long and known for being strong and soft to the touch.
- A silk bed sheet is made from real silk…unlike a satin pillowcase or satin sheet that is made from synthetic fiber.
- Silk bed linen is hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant.
- Momme weight is a unit of measurement for silk. The higher the momme, the heavier and denser the weave will be (density and yarn count are adjusted during silk production).
- Higher momme weight silk fabrics are also made with thicker yarn.
- Charmeuse is a style of weaving threads to create a luxurious luster on one side of the fabric and a matte finish on the reverse side.
- Sleeping on a silk pillow case or sheet set is good for skin and hair. Silk bed linen minimizes hair breakage, frizzy hair, and the incidence of fine lines and wrinkles.
- A pure mulberry silk pillowcase or pure mulberry silk bed sheet set helps naturally regulate body temperature.

We offer FREE Ground Shipping on all orders within the United States*. In-stock orders from our Connecticut store are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Ground shipping on these orders to the Northeast can be delivered in as little as one or two days, while shipping to the West Coast typically takes 5-10 business days. Products that ship from our other warehouse locations may take up to 10 business days to be delivered. We will always do our best to ship items as quickly as possible and you will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order is sent out. *Shipping timeframes are estimates and present no guarantee of delivery by a specific date.

*Please note Heritage Park Laundry detergents do not qualify for free shipping.
- The 32oz & 64oz Bottles and Refills will have a flat shipping fee of $7.50 per order.
- 4oz Trial Size Bottles will have a flat shipping fee of $2.50 for orders under $25.

If you need your item(s) quickly, 2-3 day Priority Shipping is available for products that ship from our CT warehouse. For inquiries on stock and shipping availability, contact us through chat, phone, or email and we will be happy to assist you. Should you choose expedited shipping and any product in your order is not available for this service, we will contact you as soon as possible.

International Shipping

At this time, we ship to limited countries outside of the United States. All applicable duties/taxes are charged at checkout so there should be no surprise charges when your order arrives. These fees are calculated through our shipping partner and can not be adjusted by our staff. Order ship within 1-3 business days. We currently have two shipping options for our international orders, both via DHL:
- DHL eCommerce - 7-15 Business Days
- DHL Worldwide - 3-5 Business Days

We offer a range of pillowcase sizes to suit most standard-sized bed pillows, as well as Euro shams and mini pillows for travel or toddlers. If you're not sure what size your pillow is, use the below measurements to make sure you select the right size. Most pillows will say the measurements on the tag, so that's always a good place to start!

*If you have a Standard/Queen Pillow, typically measuring 20" by 28", you can choose from our Standard or Queen sizes. We recommend if your pillow is on the thinner size to choose Our Standard size, and if you pillow is fuller to choose our Queen size.
